Issues

As your next County Council member, I would end the hyper-partisan polarization that has plagued St. Joe County for the past four years. I believe in listening to the experts in our county departments, my colleagues across party lines, and most importantly, our neighbors across District B and beyond. As a dad, husband, and proud St. Joseph County resident, I am interested in helping our most vulnerable neighbors and returning trust to our county government.

Here are my thoughts on the pressing issues in our community:

Data Centers

I was the first in the District B race to call for a ban on future data centers. I believe we should know more about the promises made and impacts of hyper-scale projects before committing any more resources.

Paving and Plowing

I will return the focus in St. Joseph County from infighting to the “boring” necessities like paving, plowing, and fixing road hazards.

Redistricting

As a member of the Indiana Citizens Redistricting Commission, I worked across party lines and listened to Hoosiers to help build voting maps that treat every Indiana resident fairly.

Affordability

I will work with my Democratic and Republican colleagues and local leaders to create REAL solutions to our affordability crisis.

Public Health

In the past four years, our County Council has decimated the Health Department. As your representative on the County Council, I will respect our experts and end the obstructionist actions that have closed Portage Manor, delayed the New Day Intake Center and a NARCAN program, and cut funding for crisis response teams.

Libraries and Parks

Our libraries and our parks are some of our greatest assets in St. Joe County, and I will work hard to ensure they remain just as incredible for our single greatest asset: our neighbors.
